Choosing a college
Banaras Institute of Pharmacy is a D.Pharma college in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, established in 2019 under the Purwanchal Educational Trust. It is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and affiliated to the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh, and it runs one programme: the two-year, full-time Diploma in Pharmacy.
That single focus is deliberate. The institute is not a multi-faculty campus where pharmacy shares a building with six other departments — the laboratories, the teaching staff and the timetable exist for the diploma alone.
Sixty seats are sanctioned each year, and admission is through JEECUP counselling. If you have not appeared for JEECUP, it is still worth calling before assuming the year is lost — vacancy positions after the main rounds vary annually.
Why here
Three things worth verifying about any pharmacy college you are considering — ours included.

Read the approval letters →Rs 60,000 per academic year, Rs 1,20,000 across the two years. The JEECUP counselling fee is paid to JEECUP, not to us. No figure is withheld until you visit.
See the fee breakdown →Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Pharmacology each have their own department and their own laboratory — not one shared room timetabled four ways.
