Banaras Institute of Pharmacy
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Banaras Institute of Pharmacy does with the information you give us through this website. It covers this website only.
What we collect
We collect only what you type into one of our three forms. The admission enquiry form collects your name, phone number, email address, city, the programme you are asking about, whether you have appeared for JEECUP, and any message you write. The contact form collects your name, phone number, email address, subject and message. The newsletter form collects your email address.
Alongside each submission we store the IP address the request came from and your browser's user-agent string. We use these to block automated spam, not to profile you.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry. Our admissions team uses your phone number and email to call or write back about the D.Pharm programme. Newsletter addresses are used only to send occasional updates about programmes and admission dates.
Where it is stored
Submissions are stored in a database on a server operated for the institute and are visible only to authorised staff signed in to our admin portal. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.
How long we keep it
Admission enquiries are retained for the admission cycle they relate to and for up to three years afterwards, so we can answer follow-up questions. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Any cookies present are strictly necessary for the site to function.
Your choices
You can ask us to send you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email bipvns2019@gmail.com or call 7706033222 and tell us what you want done. We will action the request within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page, and material changes will be noted at the top.
