10+2 (Intermediate) with Physics and Chemistry, and either Biology or Mathematics.

  • Category certificate, if you are applying for a reserved seat

Process

How admission works

  1. Step 1

    Check your eligibility

    10+2 with Physics and Chemistry, and either Biology or Mathematics.

  2. Step 2

    Apply for JEECUP

    Apply under Group E1 if you studied Biology, or Group E2 if you studied Mathematics, and take the entrance exam.

  3. Step 3

    Register for counselling

    After the result, register for JEECUP counselling on the portal. The registration fee is ₹250, paid to JEECUP.

  4. Step 4

    Fill and lock your choices

    Add Banaras Institute of Pharmacy to your list of colleges, in order of preference, and lock the list before the deadline.

  5. Step 5

    Accept your seat

    If a seat here is allotted to you, pay JEECUP's ₹3,000 seat acceptance fee and choose freeze or float.

  6. Step 6

    Report to the institute

    Report within the dates JEECUP gives, with your original documents, and complete admission at the office.

Fee support

Scholarships

The published fee is not always what a student pays. Two separate kinds of support apply at Banaras Institute of Pharmacy: a merit scholarship awarded from the college trust, and the Uttar Pradesh government's post-matric scholarship, which students apply for directly with the state.

  • UP Post-Matric Scholarship

    Government of Uttar Pradesh

    SC, ST, OBC, General and Minority categories, subject to a family income ceiling of ₹2,50,000 for SC and ST and ₹2,00,000 for the rest. Fee reimbursement plus a maintenance allowance.

  • College Trust Merit Scholarship

    Purwanchal Educational Trust

    Students securing 60% or above in the qualifying examination. No income or category condition, and it can be held alongside the state scholarship.
