D.Pharm fees

Tuition for the D.Pharm at Banaras Institute of Pharmacy is ₹60,000 per academic year. The programme runs for 2 years, so the tuition across the whole diploma is ₹1,20,000.

JEECUP charges two fees of its own during counselling: ₹250 to register, and ₹3,000 to accept an allotted seat. Paid to JEECUP on its portal, not to the institute. If anyone asks you to pay a counselling fee to the institute, call 7706033222 before you pay anything.

What can reduce it

The published fee is not always what a student pays. Two separate kinds of support apply at Banaras Institute of Pharmacy: a merit scholarship awarded from the college trust, and the Uttar Pradesh government's post-matric scholarship, which students apply for directly with the state.

• UP Post-Matric Scholarship — fee reimbursement and a maintenance allowance for SC, ST, OBC, General and Minority students within the state income ceiling. Reimbursement is at the state-approved rate, which for a private institution can be less than the fee charged.
• College Trust Merit Scholarship — a merit reduction for students securing 60% or above in the qualifying examination, decided by the trust.
